EVENTS:
Planning stages of a joint project with SDMBA are  Backcountry Horsemen-CA - San Diego unit, BCH Redshank unit, SDTA & LFR using pack mules.  Watch for details. 

May 25, 2019: Equestrian/Mountain Bike Clinic held at River Valley Equestrian Center in Lakeside   Lead by trainer Vicki Krauss, equestrians exposed their horses to obstacles like balloons, umbrellas, hikers with backpacks, and mountain bikers.  An educational clinic to expose horses to trail obstacles and to other trail users.  We will be holding another clinic serving this function. 42 people attended with 25 horses and 8 mountain bikers and two backpackers.   A good time was enjoyed by all.  See this event in the California Horse Trader June 1 edition online under "Focus on Trails".

April, 2019  - California Trails and Greenway Conference: 
SDTA held an exhibit booth with co-sponsors:  Lakeside Frontier Riders, Backcountry Horsemen-Calif, San Diego Unit, Tijuana River Valley Equestrian Association, Ramona Trails Association, Blossom Valley Trail Alliance, Bonita Valley Horsemen.

SDMBA Trail Work Black Mt March 26, 2016
Please come join us for another build day on brand new trail at Black Mountain. We will be meeting at the north/east end of Sundevil way. If you are unfamiliar with the area, this is the road that is on the east side of Mt Carmel High School.
